Born and raised in France, Cecile has always been very involved with sports, dance and outdoor activities. She pursued her nursing degree while doing acrobatics, acting and trapeze as much as her schedule allowed. She left nursing to pursue work with the French Circus Art Academy and was then hired to be the aerial act of a new Cirque du Soleil touring show. She exchanged her white nurse outfit for shiny costumes and her amazing adventure began, touring different continents and then performing in a permanent show in Las Vegas. Through intense physical work she was injured many times and had numerous shoulder and back surgeries, which is how she discovered the restorative methods of Pilates. She fell in love with the practice and became a certified instructor through UNLV. Through her passion for teaching, she saw her students improve their physical conditions but more importantly, they became happier, more confident and in some cases, completely pain free. This was pure joy for her knowing she was helping people to get healthier and happier. She has also studied Thai yoga massage and energy healing techniques like Reiki and the Moldova technique.

Tina’s love for fitness includes over 5 decades of performance beginning as a representative for her schools in team sports, a cheerleader, 7years of dance and decades in the gym group fitness environment in the step era, aerobics, spin, body pump and ultimately Pilates mat. The Pilates method inspired me to turn my dedication to fitness to” the other side of the podium” and become an instructor. A true milestone just prior to my 50th birthday. My 300 plus hours of comprehensive teaching training which included lecture, apprenticeship, assistant teaching and the successful passing of the industry established examination, allowed me to become a certified Pilates Method Alliance instructor. I am also certified in Barre through Balance Point Barre, as my love for dance has never waned. The Pilates method along with my years of fitness engagement have taught me that the body is an amazing creation and that if we utilize the disciplines of movement that are mindful, consistent, in proper form, breathe and alignment, we can be Fit For Life. I look forward to assisting you in enhancing your quality of life through fitness that is safe, challenging and fun …

I started teaching classes in 2002 because of my love for group fitness. I started teaching classes such as step aerobics, weight lifting, spinning and, boot camp. My love for continued learning led me to my yoga 200 YTT certification and becoming a yoga and fitness studio owner in Northern Kentucky. But after years of high impact workouts, I was ready for a new way to challenge my body that would not be so hard on my body. A friend opened a Pilates studio and that's where I was first introduced to the reformer and I loved it. As soon as I moved to Tampa, I found Club Pilates and felt like I found my new home studio. I heard about their 500 hour teacher training and I immediately signed up. I love what Pilates has done for me. I have learned so much about my own body, but more importantly, it has taught me how I can help others overcome injuries and gain strength and confidence through mindful movement. I believe that you are only one workout away from a good mood, so keep moving!
